HEADLAND is a collective of Artists, Photographers, Directors & Craftsmen who are committed to responsibly producing compelling narratives, impactful imagery and sustainable objects. Through our diverse community and varied experiences, we stand collectively stronger and better suited to meet the needs of our evolving image-based world. Whether on set, in studio, or in the line up, we bring our joy, camaraderie and enthusiasm to every opportunity that we are a part of.

HEADLAND was founded by New York native Christopher Labzda. Christopher has over a decade of experience in the commercial & fine art world both domestic and abroad. Prior to assembling the collective, Christopher helped spearhead the art scene of Manhattan's Lower East Side through his Forsyth Street Gallery: ToomerLabzda. As a purveyor of emerging talent, He went on to launch, direct, and lecture on the MA in Fashion Photography at the School of Visual Arts. Christopher co-founded and curated the New York Fashion Film Festival, expanding awareness of this evolving genre internationally. He has had the honor of lecturing on Art History and Theory at Universities, Institutions, and Collections including: Pepperdine, Wingate, Florida Atlantic University, James Madison University, Lawrence, Tate Britain, Tate Modern, The Victoria and Albert Museum, The Photographers' Gallery UK, The Courtauld Institute of Art, the National Portrait Gallery UK, Pratt Institute, Parsons, and The Moscow Museum of Modern Art. Christopher earned his MFA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths University of London. When not on set or in his studio, you will most likely find him in the ocean.
